Capture and vault settings

Choose capture sources

Section titled “Choose capture sources”

In Settings → Capture, choose the microphone Markdrip records from. You can also enable system audio when you need to capture remote participants in a call. Your operating system may ask for permission before either source is available.

Choose a vault location

Section titled “Choose a vault location”

In Settings → Vault, select the local folder where Markdrip saves Markdown notes and its local search index. You can use a folder managed by your own file-sync tool, but Markdrip does not upload or sync vault contents itself.

Change settings later

Changing a source or vault location does not change the privacy defaults: recordings, notes, and search stay on your device. For the full data promise, read Privacy.
