• Usage reporting on by default (outside EEA/UK). The app now sends pseudonymous, content-free usage measurements to help improve the product — integer counts of product actions and current object counts. No audio, transcripts, notes, summaries, voiceprints, speaker names, or other meeting content is included. Outside the EEA and UK this is on by default; inside the EEA or UK it is off by default and requires your explicit opt-in. Turn it off (or on) at any time under Settings → Privacy → Share usage data. Turning it off immediately stops future sends and clears any queued measurements on your device. See Privacy & Local-First Guarantees and Configuration for full details.
• Local-calendar context. Markdrip can use your local calendars to title a meeting and note who was invited, so new notes arrive already labeled. Off by default; enable in Settings → Calendar and choose which calendars to include. Nothing about your calendar leaves your device. Use “Forget calendar data” to clear all calendar-derived details from your notes at any time. See Configuration.
• Privacy documentation expanded. New Biometric & Voice Data Notice documents how voice fingerprints are stored (on-device only), erased, and what consent is required when enrolling others. New Rights and data requests page covers how to exercise access, correction, deletion, and other rights regarding the narrow licensing-channel and usage-measurement data we process.
• Terms of Service updated. The August 2026 revision adds the product- usage telemetry channel, documents the per-region default and opt-out, and corrects the licensing-channel IP-handling description.
• Public documentation site. Markdrip now has a dedicated, markdown-first documentation site (this site) with agent-readable outputs (/llms.txt, /llms-full.txt, and a raw Markdown version of every page).
